Now that Halloween is finally over, I actually have five minutes to sit down and right a blog entry. The week leading up to Halloween was pretty crazy. For some crazy reason I decided to make a Josh a costume this year. He didn't want to be the same thing everyone else was going to be so we decided to go old school and make him a mummy. I have to say, I was very proud of how it turned out, especially since I don't sew, and made the entire costume from old bed sheets and clothes. Thankfully I was able to finish his costume 2 nights before Halloween. Zach got to be his cute horse that Grandma made him a couple years ago again this year. He was so funny for his school parade because if he saw me he would throw a fit and not look so I had to have his teacher take his picture for me. This was also the first year that I have been the room mom for his class. Their school didn't have the kids do a parade or wear costumes so I wanted to make sure they had a really fun party which in turn just mean more work for me. We ended up having a photo booth (I made a backdrop and a bunch of props), played the mummy game, ate donuts hanging from strings, and of course dry ice witches brew. The night before Halloween was our ward party and the kids had a lot of fun going from room to room playing games and getting treats. I got to take the boys trick-or-treating this year and the cousins came with us. Once their buckets were completely full we decided to call it a night. The day after Halloween was Zachs last soccer game for the season. It was really cold but he still had a blast. His coaches are so amazing and he really loves Ms. Hillary and giving her big hugs. Hopefully now everything can calm down a little before the Thanksgiving, Birthday, Christmas madness begins.
